Quiet, since it is far from the center. In the middle of trees if this is what you are looking for.
There is no room service. We stayed 4 days but nobody cleaned the room, nobody change the trash, nobody change or cleaned the bed sheets. Shower is not satisfactory, it is not possible to have a good shower. Our room was with air con, but we heard that there is no hot water in the rooms with fan. Room was not clean. You should walk at least 15 minutes from the center. Last 5 minutes there is a slope, because you go up to hill. Beds are not comfortable. I stayed in many hotels but this bed was the one of the worst. I couldn't get a good sleep during my stay.

We choosen one of the cheapest rooms on Phi Phi, just for 1 night. Adventage was breakfast and in very peacefull, quiet place. Equiped with mosquito-curtain which is a must!
Bamboo house, so be aware of mosqitos, ants, spiders and all small isects... In general not recomending to stay on phi phi main town. Move to some beatufill beaches on other side of the island.

Nothing
Everything... » bad location - 20minutes walking from the centre with very inclined road. » the hotel has many high stairs, with the bags, sun and no staff help was very hard to go to the room. » dirty (toilets and bed sheets). » The walls are all made of bamboo so you can have many "undesirable friends". » expensive

Within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, nightlife and town centre Pier etc but just set back enough to feel the tranquility of this gorgeous island!
The walk up hill from the town centre!

Very nice place. Breakfast is good. Rooms are clean. Nice swimming pool area.
The only problem is the upper rooms. It is really a walk up. Fortunately the staff helps us with the luggage. For those who dont like to walk much, the hostel may be quite out of the centre.

When we got there the Resort was renovating the pool which was the main reason why my wife and i decided to go there and that was a let down straight away. Our cupboard was lopsided and only had 1 hanger, they also had a pool table but each time we went past it was being played on by the staff so you felt uncomfortable wanting to ask them can you play, table was also in bad condition!! overall wasnt a gd experience staying there

Silent, room was clean.
Bathroom was terrible. The water would not flush from the toilet and not even go down from my shower. It smelled really bad.

Outside of the busy part of the island.
Not engough places sitting during breakfast. Poor condition of a metal construction around a swiming pool.

I liked the pool and location away from the centre of PHi Phi. I enjoyed sitting on the log balcony and contemplating life away from the young backpackers
steps very steep to reach cabin so elderly might find this difficult

1. The staff are very helpful. I lost my return ship ticket to Phuket and it was 45 minutes to on board.. the hotel staff helped us to call the travel agency that i booked the ticket with, and asked them to send fax ticket... They called the travel agent about 4 times in 15 minutes to push for the fax... at the last call (30 minutes to onboard) the agent suggested us just to go to the Pier and ask the pier staff to call the travel agent.... while the hotel staff sending us to the Pier, another hotel staff running to catch us as they finally received the faxed ticket.... 2. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking to the beach, and 30 minutes walking to the View Point on hill, the toilet is not so clean as the bamboo made walls are hard to clean... 3. rooms build on hills, so get ready to climb...

That when you get there you get a bottle of water.
When raining, water cames into the room and all my cloth were wet! No clean at all. Many mosquitos! The location is not good. Far away from the beach, from the peer, from shops and from night life. The stuff are not friendly. The pool is dirty and very small. No place with good light to read at evening time. You get cold breakfast.
